Valerie Jarret Identifies Obama’s “Change” So Far

January 24, 2010

Valerie Jarret was on NBC’s Meet the Press tonight.  She was kind enough to point out all of the “changes” Obama has been nice enough to deliver for the United States.  When then Senator Obama was campaigning for the White House he promised “change.”  Without a doubt Jarret, a top White House Advisor, and close family friend( Obama says Jarret is like a sister), wants to boost Obama’s image.  She wants us to see Obama as the first politician to actually deliver on campaign promises.  And without a doubt Jarret may well be right, Obama has delivered on his campaign promise of change.

“I think what we’ve seen is a dramatic difference in terms of how the United States is perceived around the world,” Jarrett said on Meet the Press.  I would have to agree wholeheartedly with Miss Jarret’s opinion, we have seen a dramatic difference in how the world sees the US.

Case in point, on Christmas Day a Nigerian born Muslim was caught attempting to explode his underwear on a flight to Detroit.  We soon found out that under Obama’s watch the Underwear Bomber’s father had warned Hillary Clinton’s State Department and Obama’s Intelligence angencies.  Those agencies, under Obama’s, watch would never profile a poor innocent Muslim and he would have succeeded if not for American citizens that forgot they were supposed to be understanding under Obama’s watch.  After the 9/11 attack and under George Bush’s leadership, the world didn’t think we were so weak that they could attempt to do this often.  There were tests of course, Richard Reid was just such a test.

Under Obama’s watch we had an Army Psychiatrist that was also a Muslim terrorist attack, kill and wound soldiers at Fort Hood that were in the process of deploying to the war.  Under Obama’s watch, we found out that this murdering Son of a Bitch had been watched by the FBI for sending emails to a top Al-Qaeda cleric and recruiter.  Under Obama’s watch the FBI would watch Major Hassan but would never deign to profile and interrupt his nefarious plans.  Obama failed to profile this nut-case and call him a terrorist in the beginning.  In fact Obama actually cautioned us against blaming Islam or calling it terrorism.

Under Obama’s watch, it took 6 months to find 30,000 of the 35,000 to 80,000 troops that General McChrystal needed to win in Afghanistan.  It also took only 3 hours to find in excess of 10,000 troops to send unarmed into Haiti for earthquake relief.  They were sent unarmed because under Obama’s watch we can afford $100,000,000 to help Haiti’s, but we can’t find enough for weapons and ammunition so our troops can protect themselves from gangs of Haitians armed with machetes.

Let’s not forget Iran.  Under Obama’s watch we opted to “talk” to Iran about their nuclear program.  We talked like friends, Iran opened a new plutonium processing plant.  We talked like friends, Iran opened fire on innocent Iranian citizens that stood up to protest a stolen election.  Under Obama’s watch we stood by and watched as though nothing was happening.  Under Obama’s watch the assault on the Iranian people was only wrong when it began to affect Obama’s poll numbers at home.

Under Obama’s watch we had member’s of Obama’s staff talk about Hugo Chavez’s great “revolution.”  In return Chavez complained heavily about Obama and accused the US of occupying Haiti.

Under Obama’s watch we gave Great Britain a gift. We gave them the bust of Winston Churchill that Britain had given us.  Under Obama’s watch we also Gave the Prime Minister of Great Britain two toy Marine One helicopters for his kids, and some dvd’s that he can’t watch in Britain.  Under Obama’s watch we also gave the Queen of England an Ipod with all of Obama’s speeches in it.

Does the world see us differently under Obama?  Without a doubt, Miss Jarret, I would have to agree.  The world does see us differently, but it isn’t a good change.

Jarret also credited the president with having “pulled back the economy from the brink of disaster.”  Under Obama’s watch the Government bailed out the banks and received partial ownership of the same banks.  And under Obama’s watch the Government bailed out Chrysler and GM.  In both cases the Government came out owning the companies in question.  Under Obama’s watch he has asked for legislation giving him authority to take over any company that he believes is a “risk” to the nation’s economy.  Under Obama’s watch the Government has attempted to forcefully takeover 1/6th of the nations economy with a takeover of healthcare.  In spite of polls that show m ore than 60% of the population is opposed to the proposed healthcare reform.  Under Obama’s watch Obama continues to push for the healthcare reform rejected by the people, claiming that just hasn’t explained it well enough.  He hasn’t explained it at all but has tried to call people “liars” when they take the time to read the bill and explain it themselves.  Under Obama’s watch we passed a stimulus bill that nobody other than Obama and his staff wanted.  The result was billions of dollars spent to “create or save” jobs in congressional districts that don’t exist and in zip codes that don’t exist.  In fact, it has now been reported that jobs were “created or saved” in companies that don’t exist.  Under Obama’s watch and in an effort to make it easier for the simple minded “regular” people to understrand, companies no longer have to specify how many jobs were “created or saved” with stimulus money, now if they only received $10 of stimulus money every job at the company was “created or saved.”

Under Obama’s watch the IRS has vowed to crack down on “tax cheats.”  Citizens and companies that don’t pay their taxes as required will be under extra scrutiny under Obama’s watch; IRS and Postal agents and members of Obama’s staff excluded, under Obama’s watch.

Jarret didn’t stop there, she had more signs of change Obama has given us.  “That’s an enormous amount of change when you consider where we were a year ago right on the brink,” she said. “And he’s adding discipline in government to try to get control over our fiscal house. So I think that we’ve seen enormous change.”  Without a doubt Obama has given us fiscal discipline.  There hasn’t been a President in the entire history of our great nation that can spend like Obama has.  In twelve short months under Obama’s watch our national debt has grown three times what it was under Former President Bush’s eight years.  Under Obama’s watch we have borrowed to the point the Chinese are now reluctant to loan to us anymore.  Under Obama’s watch we have developed a new way to borrow money we now boroow it from the US,  That’s right, under Obama’s watch we now borrow money from ourselves.  As the world has becoming increasingly dependent on the American dollar they cringe in fear at what we are doing to the dollar and how it will affect them.  Under Obama’s watch the world loves us for what we are doing to them all.

Under Obama’s watch average, God-fearing, loyal, patriotic Americans have been called terrorists for having the audacity to believe in the Constitution, the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, and exercising their right to vote for the candidate of their choice even if that candidate was Ron Paul.  Under Obama’s watch Americans were called Nazi’s for attending Tea Parties and Town Hall Meetings to express their concerns about what was happening in Washington DC.  Under Obama’s watch we have been lead rapidly towards a totalitarion regime where the “citizens” are nothing more than slaves to the Government, and the Governmet officials are subject to a completely different set of rules and laws than the “regular” people.

Under Obama’s watch change was promised and, by God, change was delivered.  Valerie Jarret was right.  But is change really a good thing?
