Confessions of an Asshole

January 11, 2009

I’m an asshole.  I know I’m an asshole, I should know it, I’ve been told often enough.  I’d like to say I’m sorry about it, but I’m not.  In fact, I take a measure of pride in it.  I may be an asshole, but I am right.

When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, I was an asshole.  I was told more than once.  I had no sympathy for the “victims” of the hurricane.  My theory was that they voluntarily lived in a city that was below sea level, protected by levees that were designed and built to protect against a category three storm surge.  Since they knew this, or should have reasonably known this, I felt that with three days notice that a category four storm was bearing down on their city, the people had an obligation to get out of the way.  Those that didn’t got NO sympathy from.  I was an asshole for that opinion.

When the “victims” walked through the water, got up on the bridge and sat there dying while waiting for Uncle Sam to come along with my tax dollars and save their dumb lives I had no sympathy for anyone but the children who, through no fault of their own, were the innocent victims of their parents stupidity.  My theory on this was that these people could have walked to Baton Rouge where there was food, water and shelter.  I was told that both ends of the bridge were under water.  Again, I had a theory, these idiots walked through the water to get on the bridge and it made perfect sense to us assholes that they could walk through the water to get off the bridge to go someplace with the needed food, water and shelter.  I was an asshole, but again, I was right.

When American soldiers tortured detainees at Abu Graib I was an asshole.  I didn’t care then, I don’t care now.  My theory was that these people were the ones that cut the heads off of Americans that they captured, burned the bodies and hung them from bridges.  A few pictures of some terrorist on leash held by some woman soldier wasn’t a bad thing in comparison.  When word came to us that we were torturing detainees at GITMO by using a technique called waterboarding, I was an asshole again.  Why?  Because I didn’t get upset, I thought,”great, if it gets information that saves American soldiers so they can continue to protect American citizens, go ahead and make these terrorists think they are going to drown.”  As an asshole, I held on to, and continue to hold on to, the belief that waterboarding paled in comparison to drilling holes in people, dipping people in vats of acid, or forcing husbands and fathers to watch as their wifes and daughters are raped by Saddam and his psycho sons.  It might seem like a poor comparison to most but, as an Asshole, I tend to give Americans the benefit of the doubt and to believe that our sins are considerably less than the sins of those that do worse, especially since we do it out of necessity to those who actually do worse, while they do it to those who merely wish to force others into submission.

When I heard on the news that Walmart had aquiesced on a lwasuit to recover money from a former employee who had won a lawsuit against a trucking company after she was involved in an accident with, I was an asshole because I didn’t think Walmart should have given in.  I was a further asshole because after looking into the facts of the accident, I didn’t believe there should have been a settlement for Walmart to try to get.  Anyone who makes a u-turn in front of a truck and gets hit is on their own.  The fact that my sympathies lay with the truckdriver that lost his job because some idiot made a u-turn immediately in front of him on a state highway in Missouri made me a three-time-loser, but that is the life of an asshole.

When I opposed Hillary Clinton for the presidency, and then opposed Barack Obama for the same job, I was an asshole.  The fact that I can’t understand that Bush has done a bad job makes me an asshole again.  When I said the only thing Bush did wrong was give in to the Democrats on their excessive spending, I was an asshole.  I was right, but I was an asshole.  To make matters worse, I supported and voted for John McCain and Sarah Palin.  I was an asshole for that.  To make matter worse, I full well plan to vote for Sarah Palin for the presidency in 2012.  I guess I will still be an asshole then, too.

In the matter of the current conflict between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza, I’m an asshole.  I’m right again, but I am still an asshole because I refuse to say that Israel is wrong.  I’m an asshole because I believe Israel has every right to defend against Hamas’s rockets.  I’m an asshole because I don’t buy in the “disproportionate force” argument.

Immigration issue?  I’m an asshole.  I don’t support the “pathway to citizenship” for criminals that violated American law by coming here with the proper permission and documents.  I’m an asshole because I insist on calling illegal aliens illegal aliens.  I don’t believe “anchor babies” should be considered citizens if the parents weren’t here legally, because I’m an asshole.  I’m right, but I am still an asshole.

The worst of it all is that while I’m an asshole, I am unrepentent.  I will always be an asshole.  I can live with that, and I am proud of being an asshole.

E-Verify Program for employment is threatened

The department of Homeland Security has a great new program that allows employers to almost instantly determine employment eligibility. About 99.6 percent of all work-authorized employees verified through E-Verify are verified without having to take any type of corrective action. This is a program that works well. If every business in America used this system, all illegal immigrants would become unemployable and have to return to their homelands.

If all illegal aliens had to go back to where they came from, the democrats would lose over 20 million votes. They can’t afford to let that happen.

You’re an ass hole because you are ignorant. Ever wondered, what if those conspiracy theories were true? Thats the problem, most are true or have some truth to them. Most of the problems in America are being self created. The Department of Homeland Security is the American version of the KGB.

America is controlled by a criminal network called Freemasonry. It is a Secret Society. Get rid of it, and all of the other problems will go-away!

No. I’m an asshole because I understand the real threat to this country, it is NOT Freemasons, it is communists. Obama and his communist cronies are calling the shots. They are the ones that are taking over America’s industries, they are the ones convincing Americans that they are victims, that they need Government to control their lives because Big Business won’t give them a fair shake, that they need Government to do the things that they are not smart enough to do for themselves. Any of the victims of Katrina could have gotten out of New Orleans, but they stayed. Why? Because after decades of being taken care of by Democrats, they no longer know how to take care of themselves, they have become dependent on Big Government. Not on Freemasons, but on Government.
And I’m an asshole because I recognize that what you call conspiracy is nothing more than your espression of the fact that you have bought into the communist lie. You are the problem, you and people like you that want to blame a group of people that do charity work, and nothing more. Freemasons are not a “secret society.” They welcome almost everyone into their group. Ask one sometime. Even I have been invited to join, but don’t have the time or inclination.
OPen your eyes, do some looking into Obama and his commections, his supporters, then you will see the real problems facing this country. Then you will see who is actually “ignorant.”

Obama is a Mason. Masons are communists. They see America as a Corporate state. Are you telling me that I’m making-up that whole story on my blog? LOL!

Obama is not a mason, his connections to communism are verifiable though. I haven’t read your blog as of yet, I will today but I tend to believe it will be little more than a joke.

My blog can’t be any worse than this blog. Do you even know what Communism is? Its a corporate state, controlled by a mob of Secret Societies, which are put in every position of power. There is a controlled media, and a central bank. This is America. Obama is in a Secret Society, along with every other politician, Judge, and CEO.

I have a bit of news for you, I do know what communism is. When you were starting school, I was in the Marines, during the final years of the Cold War. There are no “secret societies” involved in communism. There is an “elite” class of society that claims to work for the benifit of all, but always seem to do substantially better, noone is allowed to question that, or even to merely mention it. Communism isn’t exactly a “corporate state.” It is more a case of a state that controls industry. While communism does control the media, in the US the media is for the most part in bed with the government, not controlled by it but complicit, the exception being Fox News. Baking has been taken over by government, so has the mortgage industry, and GM and Chrysler, with energy and healthcare being next on the takeover list. But that is not the same thing as a secret society, in fact while the government is taking over they aren’t being overly secretive about it, they are being deceitful which is completely different.
What you call secret societies are little more than college fraternities or simple church or community organizations. They are not running the government, and there is no secret society that is out to ruin or run your life. What there is is a political ideology that is out to control the entire country, but they are not necessarily secretive about it. And not every politician, judge and CEO is involved. That goes beyond conspiracy and delves into paranoia. You should seek psychiatric help.
