Why Obama Should Not Be President

The media is sarting to use the term “President Obama” alot lately.  That is a frightening thought,  not because of race, but, because of Obama’s stated policies, as well as his voting record from the Illinois legislature.  To date, Obama has suggested talking to Iran and Syria without preconditions, then after his opponents objected, he suggested that there would have to be preconditions, then after that, he denied that he ever said that he would meet with Iran and Syria without preconditions.  He says that the strongest nation in the world shouldn’t be afraid of talking to our adversaries, but he also wants to “end the arms race” by locking up all fisile material(the only fisile material he could lock up would be ours) and doing away with nuclear weapons(again, he can only do away with ours).  He calls for a “windfall profits tax” on oil companies that would cause oil companies to reduce costs the only way they can, by reducing production which would raise fuel prices even higher.  He said that we can’t drive SUVs, eat whatever we want and keep our houses at 72 degrees because other countries won’t like it.  He showed a disdain for the 2nd Amendment with his comments about poor rural white people “clinging to guns and religion”.  He calls for working class Americans to provide universal health care for people who are too lazy to work or to improve themselves so they can get a better job to afford their own health care plan.  His plan to “bring the troops home” would see Iraq sink into an Islamist state and the Islamic extremists bring their war against the west into the heartland of America, which is where they woud prefer to fight this war and where they would be fighting this war if Bush hadn’t taken us into Iraq.  Obama’s policies would cripple this country economically, make us even more reliant on foreign oil, enslave the American people to the Government and, in the end, bring war to the American homeland, which hasn’t happened since the civil war.  Obama is a full fledged socialist with absolutely no understanding of national defense. And he is dangerous for this country.
